Position Summary: As the Associate Director, Strategy & Solutions you will focus on supporting business growth through deal enablement and marketing for Catalyst Flex. This role collaborates with key executive, scientific, operational, and business development stakeholders to implement comprehensive, integrated solution strategy to accelerate growth of the business. Responsible for leveraging key market and competitive trends and customer insights to drive growth. Responsible for implementing marketing strategies that provide market differentiation. Partners with Marketing team to implement go-to-market activities. Key collaboration areas include operational SMEs, inside sales and business development, and marketing and communications.

Position Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Solutions Strategy (5%):
  • Working with Solutions Strategy lead to execute business unit solution strategy
  • Responsible for implementing business unit tactical plans
  • Implement annual plan and support quarterly refresh
  • Support cross-functional initiative teams directed at solution strategy implementation
Deal Enablement (60%):
  • Develop and implement strategies to support sales teams in closing deals.
  • Understand customer needs / decision drivers and translate into compelling win strategies
  • Create and maintain deal enablement tools and resources to streamline the sales process, including proposal text, bid defense slides, etc.
  • Analyze deal performance and provide insights into improving future deal strategies.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and commercial teams to support selling activities.
Marketing (35%):
Responsible for implementing business unit tactical go-to-market/general marketings plans, including but not limited to:
  • Execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Management of marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring they align with overall business objectives.
  • Translate strategy into specific marketing plans and tactics consistent with value proposition and messaging.
  • Implement Solution-level thought leadership strategy that drives monthly engagement and positions business unit as a leader in the market.
  • Work across digital marketing, content, and conference teams to implement strategies via compelling content, programs and events that support service awareness and lead generation.
  • Distil learnings / insights into continuous improvement refinements to solution strategy, marketing strategy, and messaging.

Position Qualifications/Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or relevant field

Experience
  • 5-10 years of drug development industry experience and a demonstrated understanding of functional solutions; CRO experience a plus
  • 5-10 years of experience in commercial strategy, deal enablement, or marketing strategy roles.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful commercial strategies.
  • Experience with market and competitive intelligence research
  • Experience with new service/product offering development
  • Knowledge of innovative outreach programs
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly absorb new information
  • Project management skills to manage schedules and deadlines within corporate and ongoing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, a positive attitude and a team player
  • Detail- and service-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with a tenacious drive for results.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely present information, marketing
  • Maintain a high level of solution expertise and competitive intelligence
  • Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in sales, marketing, and business strategy
